Farming can be extremely tough

It is a great pleasure to have such close contact with the animals and to know that the products derived from the strenuous alpine livestock farming are also valued by consumers.

Farming in the mountains can be extremely tough. Our income is often hard-earned, for example because we are forced to compete with the low prices of factory-farmed products.

But it’s well worth the effort when you consider the quality of our products. Whether cheese or milk, cattle hides or meat: alpine livestock simply supply high-quality, pure raw materials for most products, including leather.
